Great Awakenings was a branding project for an 826 tutoring center. 826 started as a tutoring center with a store in front with the tutoring in the back. One of the most important things is that the store is kid friendly and whimsical, as the main focus should be the tutoring center. I developed Great Awakenings as a means for someone to connect with themselves spirtually and connect to a divine spirit through a crystal ball motif and to understand themselves better, based on Boulder, Colorados history of having a ‘great awakening’ religious movement. I pushed more into someone finding themselves, rather than looking to a great being, showing that we have it all within ourselves to be better.
