MAR OVIEDO IS A...
multidisciplinary designer with a passion for print, copywriting and UX design. From conceptualization to end product, they have never strayed from the hard work that comes with being a designer. Their strong work ethic has pushed them through long nights of projects fueled by love for all things design. They are currently pursuing a BFA in Communication Design and Strategy at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and will graduate in May 2027.
While they didn’t always know they wanted to be a designer, it has always been at the center of their life. Through graphics they made with the fandoms they were in, or flyers they made for the various clubs they lead, being a designer was always their end goal whether they knew it or not and they are always grateful to their psychology class that helped them realize it (a story for another day). Otherwise, when they are free from deadlines, you will often find them on a long walk, reading wikipedia pages on movies they will never watch, or playing with their adorable 4 dogs.
